13x19" Limited Edition Print

The dashing Richard Bennett served as governor of Virginia in the 1650s and is noted for his place in securing both Virginia and Maryland colonies' relations with the English crown. This portrait is based on a sketch of Bennett in armor similar to that worn by a more famous fellow Puritan, Oliver Cromwell. As he is the grandfather of Susannah Marie (Bennett) Darnall Lowe, this was painted for the Portrait Hall of Susannah's Watch B&B in Maryland.

Each fine art print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Limited Edition of 250, printed on acid-free, 100% rag, archival fine art paper.
