The ancient city of St. Augustine, Florida, has a treasure at its heart: Lincolnville, the historic community founded by former slaves in 1866. Over the decades, Lincolnville grew with dozens of architectural styles.  I perched outside this charming bungalow, working to capture its low garden wall and tin roof in oils to preserve it.
